When I Decided To Write A Diary!

Dear Diary,

It's been over 2 weeks now after the Nationwide Lockdown was announced. The Sun God was showering the place with all his warmth & unwanted attention😑. All this divine affection from the Almighty was making me dizzy and unwilling to leave the only selfless affection I got from my aircon. However, that's not an option to be chosen, why? you may ask. Well, the Kirana stores were a limited edition in our new life.

The weather in Lucknow has never been this favorable when suddenly, we received an hour long Hailstorm. There was a constant chattering sound on our window for God knows how long. A heart thumping noise was followed by a peaceful eerie. One could even hear the water droplet diving on hundreds and thousands of leaves and grasses.

The roads were washed as new and the air was filled with the smell of the moist soil. As alluring that maybe to few, others pinched their noses with the disgusting smell of the partially blocked drainage. The birds shuffled their tiny furry body to drop the heaviness on their wings to prepare a flight. The street dogs and cats came out of their hiding spots and resumed their chase-game. The wet roads were again filled with metallic scratches, rubber touches and the air filled with unwanted flavors.

The awe struck people came out of their shelter to witness the sideways covered in a load of heavy cotton balls.
